Team Dynamics:

The Pediatrics Team is devoted to providing empathetic medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. Our approach emphasizes preventive care, management of acute illnesses, and treatment of chronic conditions, ensuring a family-centered environment that prioritizes each child's health and development.

Work Schedule:

  • Two closing shifts: 12 pm - 8 pm
  • Three shifts from 8 am – 6 pm
  • Alternating Sundays and Fridays from 9 am - 5 pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Patient-Centered Care: Obtain comprehensive patient histories and conduct thorough assessments to support pediatric health.
  • Promote Patient Wellness: Guide pediatric patients through examinations and treatments, ensuring comfort and confidence.
  • Facilitate Communication: Act as a primary contact for pediatric patients and families, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Excellence in Clinical Practice: Conduct and interpret pediatric-specific diagnostic tests to support timely diagnoses.
  • Maintain Clinical Standards: Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in examination and procedural areas.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Licensed/Registered in New York State as an LPN.
  • CPR Certification is required.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
  • Phlebotomy certification.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly rate of $30, based on experience.
