Job Summary:

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction using innovative technologies and pedagogies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses via on-ground instruction at the campus or at a clinical site as assigned.
  • May teach clinical day, evening, or weekend courses as required.
  • Regularly review and respond to institutional communications within a timely manner.
  • Submit final grades for each semester by the established deadline.
  • Complete required college trainings and adhere to all institutional policies and guidelines.
  • Advise the Department Chair at the earliest opportunity if unable to teach a class.
  • Attend meetings as requested by the Department Chair and/or Dean.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Clinical experience in Maternal, Pediatric, Mental Health, and/or Adult Health Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Collegiate level teaching experience.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Pay Rate:

$675 - $800 per credit hour
