Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to adults with a variety of medical conditions, including respiratory illnesses, stroke, and gastrointestinal illness.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Manage patient flow and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Current WI RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Trauma level II experience highly preferred
Work Schedule

This is a 13-week contract with a start date of October 28, 2024. The shift is 12 hours, 7p-7:30a, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Unit Information

The Medical and Pediatrics Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patients. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

What We Offer
  • Guaranteed hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed
  • Radius rule: contractors must be outside a 50-mile radius of Aspirus Wausau
  • GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of orientation
