About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Technologies Program Manager to join our team at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. As a key member of our Cyber Operations and Intelligence Program Area, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives and business opportunities that drive growth and innovation in the cyber and intelligence domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Initiatives: Identify and develop new business opportunities that align with the program area strategy, including the development of strategies, technical concepts, and high-impact capabilities for the National Security Agency, intelligence community, and military partners.
  • Build and Pursue New Business Initiatives: Establish and maintain relationships with existing sponsors and identify new opportunities across the cyber operations and intelligence communities to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Drive Sponsor Engagements: Develop and execute strategic plans to address critical challenges in the sponsors' domain, including the development of projects, ideas, and concepts that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Manage and Execute Successful Contracts: Oversee projects with strategic impact to the program area and ensure successful execution of contracts that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Provide Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, participate in strategic initiatives, and contribute to the overall Cyber Operations and Intelligence strategy for APL.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience working with cybersecurity or cyber operations, and 15+ years of experience managing programs or projects.
  • Certifications: PMP or DAWIA certification, or ability to obtain a required certification as approved by the sponsor within 12 months of employment.
  • Skills: Data science, machine learning, cyber network analysis, cyber operations, and systems engineering.
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI+Poly clearance, with eligibility for access to classified information.
