Urogynecology Physician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Urogynecology Physician to join our team at LSU Health New Orleans. As a fellowship-trained Urogynecologic surgeon, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and other urogynecologic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with urogynecologic conditions, including surgical and non-surgical treatments.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and academic settings.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, including clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and leading multicenter trials or contributing to national guidelines.
  • Participate in departmental teaching activities and continuing medical education programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in OBGYN and Urogynecology Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS).
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana before date of hire.
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research in the field of urogynecology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to team-based care and collaboration.
