Job Description:

Dexis is seeking a Quality Control Inspector II to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector II, you will be responsible for performing incoming and final inspections of parts, finished products, components, and assemblies to ensure compliance with required engineering specifications and/or applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and make accept/reject decisions regarding each piece, part, or product.
  • Inspect incoming material using a variety of gauges and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Perform final product verification and checks to ensure all processes have been followed and all parts are included.
  • Review and disposition decision of failed components or products returned from customers.
  • Basic reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering documents to learn the design of product and materials orientation.
  • Use available computer programs to document inspections (Master Control, SAP, PDM Works, Microsoft Excel).
  • Capable to confirm orders in SAP for sub-assemblies and equipment.
  • Identify and communicate existing and potential quality issues.
  • Review and approve Device History Records prior to final release of finished goods.
  • Provide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures.
  • Provide process training and informal guidance and support to production team members.
  • Serve as Quality tollgate of NCPs prior to delivery of NCP to Quality Cage.
  • Perform other duties and assignments at the direction of the Production Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ year experience in quality inspections (preferably in a medical device manufacturing environment or other regulated industry).
  • Hands-on experience using inspection gauges and test instruments, including manual or computer-controlled coordinate-measuring machines.
  • Incoming, In-Process, Final, and PPAP inspection processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Ability to perform layouts and first article inspections.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical devices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, and Master Control software highly desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of electronics and electronic components highly desired.
  • Familiarity with electrical medical device manufacturing and the Toyota production business model helpful, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, complete assisted lifts of 35-50 pounds, push or pull containers on pallet jacks, repetitive bending and stooping, and may require occasional lifting overhead.
Compensation:

The target market salary range for this position is $34.30 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
