OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with a robust background in the pharmaceutical sector to manage and propel essential projects within our organization. The primary role involves aligning business goals with the execution of intricate technical projects, such as enhancing existing capabilities and overseeing data integration, by collaborating with engineering teams to define technology and product frameworks. The perfect candidate will combine technical knowledge with strategic insight and project management skills to ensure the timely and budget-conscious delivery of complex initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Development: Engage with stakeholders to outline project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Create detailed project plans and timelines that incorporate significant milestones and technical dependencies.
- Project Oversight: Direct cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and completion of projects that encompass multiple solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Possess substantial experience in managing programs utilizing a variety of technologies and guide engineering teams through the planning and execution phases.
- Risk Assessment: Recognize potential project risks and formulate mitigation strategies. Actively tackle technical challenges to maintain project timelines.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently distribute resources across projects. Track and report on resource usage to ensure productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Effective Communication: Promote dialogue between technical teams and business stakeholders. Provide consistent updates regarding project progress, milestones, and potential risks.
- Quality Control: Establish quality assurance protocols to uphold high standards for deliverables. Conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Process Enhancement: Identify and implement opportunities for improving project management processes and efficiencies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technical program management within the pharmaceutical industry is desired. A proven history of successfully managing complex projects is essential.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. Ability to generate and optimize key performance metrics related to program management.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Capacity to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in addressing technical challenges and resolving team conflicts.
- Leadership: Proven leadership capabilities in guiding cross-functional teams toward shared objectives.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Agile Scrum Master, and other relevant certifications are preferred.
