Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality ultrasound exams and procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse patient populations and possess strong critical thinking skills to identify and respond to emergent situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular exams.
  • Collaborate with physicians, co-workers, patients, and families to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care.
  • Utilize imaging and hospital computer systems effectively to maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Participate in professional development and maintain required clinical knowledge, skills, and credentials.
  • Assist with the acquisition and maintenance of IAC accreditation for the Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) Vascular Lab.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred.
  • RDMS Registered or Registry Eligible within 2 years of graduation.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • RVT Registered or Registry Eligible within 12 months for HVI Vascular applicants.
