Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Peoria, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. As a travel nurse with Host Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in a new and exciting environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
