Liberty Healthcare Corporation is seeking a skilled Vocational Nurse to join our forensic mental health program.

This program provides high-quality psychiatric services to justice-involved adults experiencing mental illness.

As a Vocational Nurse with Liberty Healthcare, you will provide care to patients in-person within the San Diego Central Jail and participate in clinical team meetings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing health education and basic counseling services
  • Documenting health status and treatment progress
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists, licensed clinicians, and security staff
  • Helping to ensure program clients receive high-quality mental health services

Schedule Options include:

  • Part-time on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Per Diem / as needed

Compensation includes starting pay between $30.00 and $36.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Requirements include a Licensed Vocational Nurse degree and experience working in a mental health setting.
