Job Title: Procurement Strategist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement solutions to support our space exploration mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet business objectives
• Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement processes are aligned with business needs
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
• Monitor and report on procurement metrics to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in procurement or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Knowledge of procurement software and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
