Position Overview

Business Centric Technology is collaborating with a leading organization in search of a Network & Systems Administrator. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for protecting essential information, systems, and assets. Your duties will include developing innovative solutions, implementing new software and hardware, and supporting the deployment of the overall IT strategy.

Compensation: Up to $90K based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
  • Lead IT projects aligned with broader business initiatives.
  • Ensure IT systems provide a competitive advantage in key sectors.
  • Implement analytics to facilitate faster and more innovative business processes.
  • Maintain a reliable IT infrastructure and networking environment.
  • Communicate project status and accomplishments with both internal and external teams.
  • Oversee user administration, security permissions, and resource monitoring.
  • Monitor and maintain data center health, addressing hardware issues as they arise.
  • Support help desk operations and provide technical assistance.
  • Conduct routine audits and manage system upgrades effectively.
  • Provide technical specifications for planning and enhancements.
  • Establish data protection and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Quickly resolve desktop application and equipment issues.
  • Manage storage planning and optimize database performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems, database, or network administration.
  • MS Office Certification is required; Cisco Certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and operating systems.
  • Experience with enterprise backup/recovery, performance-monitoring tools, active directories, and virtualization.
  • Knowledge of project management, application design/integration, and cloud computing (Microsoft Azure DevOps).
  • Experience in large-scale distributed systems analysis and repair.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce, Oracle system administration, and MuleSoft integration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 administration, website applications deployment, and Azure cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with virtualization (VMWare or equivalent) and networking protocols (levels one, two, three).
  • Linux/Microsoft certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of helpdesk and IT operations best practices, security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery.
