Job Summary

FAR Inspections is a well-established company in Reno, NV, with over 9 years of experience in providing residential occupancy verification services to mortgage lenders. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing exterior-only property inspections, reporting on the general condition of properties, and verifying property occupancy using industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete exterior-only property inspections within 4 days of assignment
  • Report general property conditions and determine occupancy based on industry standards
  • Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments
  • Complete a short form in an app
  • Spend extended periods driving while making numerous stops during the day in assigned territory

Requirements:

  • Computer with internet connection
  • Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus)
  • Smartphone (Android or iPhone)
  • Printer
  • Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license

Pay and Hours:

  • This is a 1099 position with a flat rate per inspection ($20-$30 per hour equivalent)
  • You can earn anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week, depending on county and volume
  • No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection
