Senior Urban Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Urban Planner to join our team at Aquent Talent. As a Senior Urban Planner, you will play a key role in helping municipal leaders develop and maintain communities that are vibrant, sustainable, and thriving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality planning and design work that meets the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to deliver creative solutions to complex planning and design challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and deliver public presentations and facilitate public meetings to engage stakeholders and build support for planning and design initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in urban planning and design.
Requirements:
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in professional planning and/or design positions, whether municipal or private.
  • AICP, NCI, and/or other complimentary professional certifications are a plus.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Apps and TEAMS.
