  • Sales Order Processing: Complete sales order process for customers, with a focus on up-selling associated items and driving sales growth.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide customers with product information and recommendations, utilizing computer systems, catalogs, and other reference sources.
  • Merchandising and Display: Arrange stock on shelves or racks in the sales area, maintaining a visually appealing and organized display.
  • Suggestive Selling: Apply suggestive selling techniques and up-sell to current and prospective customers, driving sales growth and increasing revenue.
  • Customer Calls: Conduct outgoing customer sales or service calls, resolving customer complaints and providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong background in technical support, HVAC parts, and customer service/sales, with intermediate MS Office capabilities.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, including sales, problem-solving, and customer service focus.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently, meet assigned goals and objectives, and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
