Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension Providence. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for computed tomography procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
  • Select and operate imaging equipment, including computed tomography scanners, to produce high-quality images.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as required, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any abnormalities or concerns to radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Computed Tomography (CT) or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in computed tomography or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
