Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Pleasanton, CA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students in a pediatric setting to help them develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in life.

Responsibilities:
  • Treat students with physical impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, and/or changes in physical function
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for each student and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide interventions and therapeutic treatments that align with the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Educate students, family members, and caregivers about the treatment plan and how to implement it in different environments
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure student needs are met
  • Document student progress and treatment plans in accordance with state guidelines and company policy
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy required
  • Active California license required
  • Minimum 1+ years of occupational therapy experience
  • Previous school experience preferred but not required
