Key Responsibilities- Front Office Duties:
- Greet patients in a courteous and friendly manner, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments and procedures.
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or fees as needed.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients and other callers.
- Complete patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Back Office Duties:
- Take patient vital signs, record medical histories, and update electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer injections and immunizations as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, including specimen collection and processing.
- Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of one year experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
This role requires the ability to travel to satellite offices and work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
