Job Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant will provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals
  • Take patient vital signs and prepare patients for examination and treatment
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Give injections, apply splints and dressings, and prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments
  • Screen telephone calls for referral to physician or provider and relay provider communications to patients by phone or mail
  • Provide general information on departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma / GED equivalent required
  • Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants required
