As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you will be part of a team that is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patient readiness for change in level of care
  • Assess, treat, and educate patients with complex needs, including hemodynamically compromised and mechanically ventilated patients
  • Initiate and maintain complex IV therapy, including thrombolytic administration and vasoactive medications
  • Care for patients with IV lines, arterial lines, central lines, ports, chest tubes, pleural catheters, tracheostomy tubes, and endotracheal tubes
  • Maintain and care for patients with an ostomy/ileostomy and urostomy
  • Care for, assess, and monitor patients with Patient Controlled Analgesia (PCA) and epidural catheters
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of chemotherapeutic/immunotherapeutic agents

Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in ICU/Inpatient
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Arizona Registered Nurse License or a Registered Nurse License from a Compact State
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Card
