Are you a skilled and dedicated optometrist looking for a new challenge? Ideal Eye, a well-established multi-practice with 11 locations in the Greater Austin area, is seeking a talented professional to join their team as a VSP Ventures Optometrist in Lockhart.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive compensation package, including a Sign On Bonus of $5,000. As a VSP Ventures Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and visual and medical conditions. You will work closely with other optometrists to deliver top-notch care and leverage state-of-the-art diagnostic technology to ensure the utmost precision in formulating treatment recommendations.

What You'll Do
  • Engage in full-scope optometry, catering to patients of all age groups and diverse visual and medical conditions.
  • Provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and visual and medical conditions, educate patients about their ocular health, and recommend vision-enhancing products.
  • Work closely with other optometrists to deliver top-notch care and leverage state-of-the-art diagnostic technology to ensure the utmost precision in formulating treatment recommendations.

Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure.
  • 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties.
