Key Responsibilities- Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement on construction sites.
- Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement using various methodologies and testing equipment following industry standards and compliance.
- Collect and analyze data, perform calculations, and document findings in accordance with accepted engineering practices.
- Maintain effective communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance professional skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- 2+ years of related experience in construction materials testing.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current basic level certifications and willingness to obtain additional advanced certifications.
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 85 lbs and carry multiple items throughout the day.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
- Strong communication and math skills, with proficiency in electronic devices and MS Office.
