Job Summary

Skyward Building Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Janitorial Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our janitorial staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling staff shifts, monitoring attendance, and conducting performance reviews. Additionally, the supervisor will be responsible for assigning janitorial duties, issuing cleaning supplies, and taking inventory of equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and oversee the completion of janitorial tasks and duties
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of staff attendance and performance
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Issue cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
  • Take inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and inform management of any shortages
  • Assist with the screening and hiring of new job applicants
  • Provide training and guidance to janitorial staff
  • Resolve conflicts between staff members in a professional and efficient manner
  • Attend meetings and in-service training sessions as required
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Janitorial Supervisor or in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning methods and equipment
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
