Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in our Pulmonary Rehabilitation department, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who are recovering from respiratory illnesses or surgery. Your primary responsibility will be to provide safe and competent nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals
  • Provide education to patients and their families on self-care techniques, medication management, and lifestyle modifications
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional status, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these concerns
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
  • Conduct patient evaluations, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as needed

Requirements:

For this role, we require a Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BLS certification, and a current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas. Critical Care experience is preferred, but not required. We also expect our nurses to maintain professional behavior, remain calm during stressful situations, and respond promptly to pages.
