Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide support to the nursing team in delivering high-quality care to residents at Forest City Rehab and Nursing Center. This role involves assisting with daily living routines, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and promoting resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist nurses with providing resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
  • Keep residents' living areas clean and tidy, including their beds, dressers, and bathrooms
  • Answer call lights promptly and assist with resident transfers
  • Report any changes in resident condition to the charge nurse
  • Take vital signs and record results in the electronic medical record
  • Document resident care and progress in the EMR
  • Assist with restorative nursing procedures and retraining
  • Participate in in-service educational classes and on-the-job training programs
Requirements
  • Current Certified Nurse's Assistant certificate in the State of Illinois
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
  • Physical and mental ability to perform routine, repetitive job duties
