We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Attending Nurse to join our team at Penn State Health. As a key member of our cardiac care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient services.
Job Summary:The RN Attending Nurse will oversee a range of duties, including performing nuclear studies, assisting with exercise tolerance/stress ECHO/other cardiac tests, and interpreting EKGs. You will also be responsible for triaging walk-in patients, rooming scheduled patients, and reviewing the crash cart checklist daily. Additionally, you will perform administrative tasks such as form completion, prior authorizations, patient education, and EMR documentation.
Responsibilities:- Perform nuclear studies, including isotope injections
- Assist with exercise tolerance/stress ECHO/other cardiac tests
- Interpret EKGs
- Triage walk-in patients and room scheduled patients
- Review crash cart checklist daily
- Perform administrative tasks, including form completion, prior authorizations, patient education, and EMR documentation
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
- One (1) year experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting required
- BLS/ACLS required
- Cardiology, heart and vascular experience preferred
