Electrical Apprentice Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our team at PCL Construction. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Help install and repair conduits, including bending, cutting, and threading.
  • Replace conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed.
  • Install conductors, terminate, and learn to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings.
  • Have a good basic understanding of NFPA70E and the NEC.
Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or willing to enroll once hired.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration and learning.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
