Qualifications: An Associate's degree in Nursing is required, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing expected within five years. Candidates from non-accredited nursing programs must possess at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed healthcare role, along with successful completion of the NCLEX licensure examination.

Licensure: Must hold a Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Certifications: AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within six months. Specialty certification is highly recommended within two years.
