Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Water Resources team. As a key member of our Public Works/Water Resources team, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with all levels of management, technical experts, and construction leaders to deliver complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-discipline teams working on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater quality management, and flood mitigation planning projects.
  • Develop and implement measures to reduce pollution from urban areas and protect rivers and lakes.
  • Design and plan flood mitigation solutions, including green infrastructure and non-structural practices.
  • Prepare watershed ordinances and drainage criteria manuals in collaboration with local governments and stakeholders.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Collaborate with Business Development teams to drive business growth.
  • Manage employees within the team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Water/Wastewater or public works studies and designs, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, stormwater quality management, and water resources planning.
  • Master of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Texas or ability to obtain it within six months.
  • Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) License.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA-SWMM, Bentley StormCAD, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, and 2D modeling.
