Job Summary:
  • This role involves documenting drug information inquiries, drug utilization evaluations, and adverse drug reactions.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to comprehend and address the unique needs of diverse patient populations.
  • Maintenance of departmental policies, state and federal laws, and regulations is essential.
  • Promoting adherence to the approved Drug Formulary by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee is crucial.
  • Proper charging documentation for services provided must be ensured.
  • A positive communication line with medical staff and promotion of the pharmacy department are key responsibilities.
  • Providing teaching, direction, and supervision of pharmacy students, residents, and medical assistants is also required.
  • Participation in professional organizations and support of program development are expected.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1+ years of pharmacy experience is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in anticoagulation therapy, bridge therapy, and drug information is essential.
Preferred Education:
  • Completion of an advanced degree is desirable.
  • Completion of an ASHP Accredited Residency and/or Fellowship is preferred.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $130,000 - $170,000, based on industry standards and location.
