Job Overview

Position: 2nd Shift Pipe Fabrication Welder/Tester
Compensation: $19/hr

Role Summary:
As a 2nd Shift Pipe Fabrication Welder/Tester, you will be integral to the production process, ensuring the efficient fabrication of piping systems while maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize automated machinery to weld and thread pipes according to precise customer specifications.
  • Analyze mechanical schematics to make necessary adjustments to machinery and select appropriate materials.
  • Operate various fabrication equipment and tools within the workshop.
  • Measure and verify dimensions of workpieces to guarantee compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct weld testing to ensure adherence to customer requirements.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with automated welding and threading machinery.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings accurately.
  • Proficient in operating fabrication shop tools and machinery.
  • Strong measurement and mathematical skills.
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer-oriented approach.
  • Skilled in using tape measures accurately.
