Job Summary:

The University of Georgia is seeking a highly qualified Turfgrass Scientist to join our team in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. As an Assistant Professor of Weed Management, you will be responsible for conducting research and extension programs focused on turfgrass science, crop management, and weed control.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and extension programs focused on turfgrass science, crop management, and weed control
- Teach undergraduate and graduate students in courses related to turfgrass science and weed management
- Collaborate with faculty and staff from various departments to develop and implement new research projects and programs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure effective knowledge transfer and collaboration

Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Turfgrass Science, Agronomy, or a related field
- Proven experience in research and extension programming related to turfgrass science and weed management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
