Mortgage Recruiter

Semper Home Loans, a direct lender licensed in 42 states, is seeking a skilled Mortgage Recruiter to join our executive team. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and HR Director, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our organization's growth and contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Candidate Engagement: Engage with candidates expressing interest through targeted recruitment efforts and assess their qualifications.
• Proactive Outreach: Proactively reach out to potential loan officers and branch managers through strategic cold calling efforts.
• Branch and Loan Officer Questionnaires: Complete detailed branch and loan officer questionnaires and gather contact information for HR coordination.
• Collaboration with HR: Collaborate with Human Resources to draft term sheets and pay plans.
• Contract Management: Ensure contracts are signed and delivered promptly via email, while coordinating licensing setup with NMLS.
• Pricing and Communication: Provide pricing details to recruits through the Optimal Blue system, maintaining communication with Secondary on margins.
• Loan Submission Support: Support recruits on loan submission processes, tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with investor programs and demonstrate industry knowledge to recruits.
• Onboarding and Pipeline Management: Work closely with the processing team to ensure smooth file transitions for newly recruited loan officers and oversee onboarding, addressing questions, and monitoring pipelines in Encompass to ensure production goals are met.

• Industry Experience: 3-7 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
• Recruiting Experience: 2-5 years of experience in recruiting, preferably within the mortgage sector.
• Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with a sales-driven mindset.
• Technical Skills: Experience with Optimal Blue and Encompass is preferred.
