Respite Support Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respite Support Specialist to join our team. As a Program Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, supporting management to meet utilization and revenue goals.
Responsibilities- Utilize excellent customer service skills to provide support to staff and families through tasks such as answering phone calls, processing records, and completing new client intakes.
- Interact with clients, families, staff, and case workers regularly, providing accurate and relevant data to all parties.
- Assist program management with processing job applications, completing interviews, and processing employee timesheets.
- Implement the functions of the respite database, including processing incoming records, reviewing and reconciling data for accuracy, quality assurance, communication, and automation.
- Maintain ongoing processes to ensure that program policies and protocols are followed.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements within the Respite program.
- Assist with employee training in areas such as employee timekeeping, authorized client hours, client care, use of technology, and software platforms.
- An associate degree in general studies, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in a customer service setting.
- Experience in the social service field is a plus.
- The ability to proficiently read, write, understand, and speak English and Spanish.
- Proficiency with office equipment, including computers, printers, and copy machines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
The work environment for this position involves working in an office setting and interacting with clients in their homes when conducting client intakes. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, hear, walk, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift objects weighing up to ten pounds repeatedly during a shift.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, paid sick and vacation time, medical/dental benefits, 403b retirement plans, initial and ongoing training, and career advancement opportunities.
