Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and cleaning of medical equipment and instruments
  • Deliver supplies and instruments to surgical teams as requested
  • Maintain accurate records of instrument and supply delivery
  • Collaborate with Materials Services and surgical staff to ensure efficient workflow
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized operating room environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of surgical experience, such as Surgical Aide or Central Sterile Tech, required
  • Registered Surgical Technologist (RST) certification required for state of Washington; Surgical Technologist certification preferred for state of Oregon
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of medical instruments and equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
