Position Overview- Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care
- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Employment Type: Travel
Job Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Shift Details:
- Schedule: Nights / 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 12x3, 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend required
- Holiday Requirements: As needed, on-call may be required
Qualifications:
- Current nursing license in New Jersey
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PICU
- At least 2 years of clinical pediatric experience
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- BLS and PALS certifications (AHA)
- BSN preferred
Additional Information:
Agency nurses are expected to float to other departments as needed, including Mother/Baby and Pediatric Emergency Department, depending on hospital requirements.
