Key Responsibilities
  • Assist drivers in delivering products to each account, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Follow corporate sales and merchandising standards to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing display of products.
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer service relationships by ensuring backrooms and shelves are left orderly, deliveries are made as scheduled, and providing respectful courtesy to retailers and shoppers.
  • Enforce Anheuser Busch equity agreement and other supplier contract policies.
  • Assist drivers with pre and post-trip truck inspections and clock in/out at designated time clocks.
  • Adhere to strict safe working and driving practices, company policies, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of general work experience, with prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a strong plus.
  • Valid US Driver's license for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Able to maintain Class A-CDL license and pallet jack certification.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and assertive skills.
  • Driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
  • Ability to operate a two or four-wheel dolly.
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting of cases up to 38 pounds and handling kegs up to 161 pounds.
Physical Requirements
  • Talk, hear, and see, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Continuous standing and walking, up to 8 hours at a time.
  • Continuous lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling lbs.
  • Ability to operate a two or four-wheel dolly.
  • Must be able to push 300 lbs dolly load and move 161 lbs kegs.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and a pallet jack.
  • Frequent driving distances between 0-75 miles in one sitting.
  • Frequent climbing, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering dolly, hand truck, bay roll-up doors, straps, curb ramps, truck doors, boxes, cases, kegs, truck gear shift.
  • Must be able to pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen.
  • Must be able to shift a manual transmission vehicle.
Working Conditions
  • All weather conditions, including high temperatures, cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet, and snow.
  • Daylight, twilight, evening, and dark lighting conditions.
  • Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes.
