We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Humanities courses at Lone Star College. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lessons, evaluating student progress, and maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
This is a part-time, semester-by-semester position, contingent upon student demand. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Humanities, Liberal Arts, Art History, Classical Studies, or a related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Philosophy, English Literature, Arts, History, and Humanities.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach at various times and locations, create course syllabi, and submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities- Teach Humanities courses at a variety of times and locations
- Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
- Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner
- Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
- Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress
- Master's degree in Humanities, Liberal Arts, Art History, Classical Studies, or a related field
- Minimum of 18 graduate hours in Philosophy, English Literature, Arts, History, and Humanities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people
