Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Rehabilitation Specialist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their team in Redding, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions, including physical, cognitive, and emotional impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement adaptive equipment and strategies to enhance patients' functional abilities and independence.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper use of adaptive equipment and techniques.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California.
  • One to three years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, as well as stand for long periods of time.
