Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Align ENT & Allergy. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with a range of ENT conditions, including pediatric and adult cases.
  • Perform ENT procedures, such as fiberoptic scope exams, drainage abscesses, and tracheostomy care.
  • Provide patient services under the direct supervision of our attending physicians.
  • Responsible for evaluating patients, obtaining medical history, performing ENT exams, ordering imaging, and developing care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Administer medications and refill prescriptions according to practice protocols or patient-specific orders.
  • Order and collect specimens for laboratory tests and imaging services.
  • Initiate and coordinate patient referrals to other healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Perform clinical procedures within established scope of practice guidelines.
  • Complete medical record documentation and maintain proficiency with EMR systems.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of Connecticut.
  • Board certification from the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) at the time of hire and maintenance of certification throughout employment.
  • Current AHA BLS certification.
  • Registration with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for scheduled II-V Controlled Substances if prescribing controlled substances.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
