Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and responsible Laundry Aide to join our team at Martha & Mary Health Services.

The successful candidate will be working in our Environmental Services department, assisting the laundry team with various tasks related to resident laundry. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by ensuring their personal items are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Tending to laundering machines to clean resident laundry
  • Loading articles into washer and adding detergent or other cleaning agents as needed
  • Lifting clean wet articles from washer and placing them in dryers for measured time cycles
  • Sorting dry articles according to identification numbers, name, or type
  • Folding and placing items in appropriate storage bins
  • Hanging clothes on racks according to name and numbers
  • Delivering personal laundry to designated areas and tracking resident's personal clothing inventory

This is a full-time position working Tues/Weds/Sat/Sun: 5AM to 1:30 PM. The salary range for this position is $17.00-$19.57 per hour, depending on experience.
