Position Overview
The State of Montana is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team at the Montana Mental Health and Nursing Care Center. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to provide essential support to individuals requiring specialized care.
About the Facility
The Montana Mental Health Nursing Care Center (MMHNCC) is a licensed residential establishment focused on the long-term care and treatment of individuals with mental health disorders. Our mission is to ensure that residents receive the highest level of care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Certified Nurse Aide, your primary duties will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Performing health-related functions such as monitoring and documenting vital signs, collecting medical specimens, and providing assistance during emergencies.
- Transporting residents to appointments and offering support as necessary.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to observe and accurately report information.
- Capacity to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Basic understanding of personal hygiene practices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.
- Two years of relevant experience in a healthcare or group home setting.
