Overview
The Glen at Hiland Meadows in Queensbury, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring and compassionate health care team.

Job Summary:
We have a great opportunity for a part-time evening shift LPN to work with seniors who need assistance with daily living but not nursing home care. As a member of our team, you will enjoy a flexible schedule, the opportunity to shadow experienced staff, and continual development and education on new techniques and skills.

Salary:
$24.00 - $30.10 per hour

About the Role:
In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents under the direction of the Nursing Director. You will oversee and mentor a team of resident assistants, pass medications to approximately 20 residents, and maintain detailed documentation and communicate changes in residents' needs to the team. You will also foster resident independence and freedom of choice, as well as educate families to make the most out of their visits with their loved ones.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a valid NYS LPN license, 1+ year of experience working in a direct patient care role handling med passes, and 1+ year of experience as a LPN. You will also need to understand assisted living regulations and maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day-to-day duties and responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment, engage within a team setting, and think, act, and intervene independently in both routine and emergency situations.
