Role Overview:

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for developing and executing tailored physical therapy programs aimed at enhancing patient recovery and achieving functional milestones. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Engages in effective communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously improves clinical skills through professional development and networking.
  • Contributes to departmental operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitors and reports changes in patient conditions to the Director of Rehabilitation and the healthcare team.
  • Oversees the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy and valid state licensure in Florida.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to assist patients physically as needed.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including listening and critical thinking.
  • Ability to understand social cues and patient needs.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
