Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Corporate Bank Technology team at Deutsche Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our business.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing scalable and available large-scale distributed banking applications to implementing cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Java/JEE-based Enterprise Applications technologies
  • Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet our customers' needs
  • Work on a wide range of projects, from developing scalable and available large-scale distributed banking applications to implementing cloud-based solutions
  • Maintain hygiene, risk, control, and stability at the core of every delivery
  • Manage the software development life cycle (SDLC) of software components all the way to production, including helping support the application to resolve production issues with appropriate triaging
Requirements
  • Extensive hands-on development experience with Java/JEE-based Enterprise Applications technologies
  • Domain/Functional knowledge - Banking, Financial Services, Payments
  • Experience in design/development of scalable, available, resilient, and observable large-scale distributed banking applications
  • Experience with open-source technologies, framework, platforms, and tools
  • Experience in web services (e.g. SOAP, REST) and in database technologies (e.g. SQL, Oracle, MongoDB)
