Position Overview:
The Logistics Management Officer serves as a pivotal figure within the Agency Synchronization Operations Center (ASOC), acting as the Deputy Director. This role is essential for providing meticulously researched, integrated, and coordinated information that influences the overarching strategies of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), impacting senior officials within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, customers, and DLA personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee a diverse team of military officers, senior civilians, and enlisted representatives across DLA's Major Subordinate Commands and staff sections.
- Monitor, integrate, synchronize, and analyze DLA operational data to deliver readiness and impact assessments that support critical, time-sensitive strategic, operational, and tactical matters for customers.

Conditions of Employment:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Appointment is contingent upon a favorable suitability or fitness determination; adverse background checks may result in removal.
- Security clearance required: Special Sensitive with SCI.

Qualifications:
To qualify for the Logistics Management Officer position, candidates must demonstrate:
- One year of specialized experience relevant to the duties of this role, typically at the GS-14 level or equivalent in other pay systems within federal service, military, or private sectors.
- Proven ability to monitor and assess program achievements through data analysis, key events, milestones, and timelines.
- Experience in developing and presenting complex recommendations to senior leadership and acting as a key representative across various organizational structures.

Additional Information:
- This position does not accommodate reemployment of annuitants.
- The DLA maintains a Drug-Free Workplace Policy; selected candidates will undergo drug testing prior to appointment.
