Department Overview:
HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is a leading provider of occupational medicine services, serving the health and safety needs of employers and employees in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties. Our team is dedicated to helping employers and employees gain control over work-related injuries and providing OSHA required medical surveillance and employer requested services.

Responsibilities:
As a Medical Assistant in our Occupational Medicine department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with our healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.

Requirements:
Healthcare Provider AHA BLS certification required. One of the following certifications required: Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA or CMA), Current unencumbered Oregon Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic licensure. This position requires the use of the employee's personal automobile. Employee must have a valid driver's license and auto liability/property damage insurance as required by law and must maintain their vehicle in good working order. Experience and/or training with MS Office required. Current DOT Collector and Breath Alcohol Technician certifications preferred. Current CAOHC Audio certification preferred. Experience and/or training in medical terminology preferred. Certification in urine drug screening, breath alcohol, spirometry, and audiometry preferred. Medical assistant, medical office, and/or billing experience preferred.

Position Details:
Normal shift, days only, no weekends. Must be currently active. Minimum 1 year of experience. Minimum 40 guaranteed hours. Specialty type: Nursing. Sub specialty: Medical Assistant. General certifications: BLS/BCLS. Bilingual: No. EMR used: No listing. Holiday coverage required: No.
