Job Title: Expense Analyst

At RGA Reinsurance Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Expense Analyst to join our team. As an Expense Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our workforce by handling the daily operations of our corporate credit card products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily activities for RGA's Corporate Travel & Expense credit card operations.
  • Engage directly with cardholders, managers, and other internal and external stakeholders to assist with card applications, inquiries, problems, and/or requests.
  • Train user communities on corporate T&E credit cards, reporting, and policy, and answer questions regarding policy interpretation when necessary.
  • Maintain credit card user configuration in the T&E system, monitor and approve personal expenses and reimbursement, and ensure corporate T&E card transactions are processed within policy and on a timely basis.
  • Support the reconciliation of accounts related to travel and expense, and credit cards.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, analyses, and metrics as required to support policy compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Card Manager to administer RGA's global credit card program and special projects.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent related work experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in accounting/finance.
  • 1+ years' accounts payable experience.
  • Intermediate oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge.
  • Ability to foster a teamwork and customer service-focused environment.
  • Ability to be flexible when needed, take initiative, and demonstrate accountability.
  • Intermediate level of investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously.
  • Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SQL/Query skills.
  • Competent knowledge of proper internal controls and the ability to evaluate and implement change as required.
  • Competent knowledge of accounting/finance theory and application and general ledger reporting.

  • A competitive salary range of $48,700 - $65,790 per year.
