Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient billing, claims, and collections, ensuring seamless financial processes and maximizing revenue for our practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely billing, claims, and collection support for our practices
  • Identify and resolve system and workflow deficiencies to optimize financial performance
  • Monitor claims logs and accounts receivable to ensure accurate and efficient processing
  • Perform audits to ensure all charges, supplies, and procedures are captured and billed correctly
  • Develop and implement action plans to address deficiencies and improve financial performance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prefer two years of college
  • Minimum of eight years of medical billing experience with a focus on daily clinic processes and collection activities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and ICD-9/CPT coding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
