About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join our team at ProLogistix. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions to optimize mechanical systems within our facilities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems. You will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The estimated salary for this role is $29-35 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems: Create innovative solutions to optimize mechanical systems within our facilities.
  • Implement and maintain mechanical systems: Develop and implement plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, with experience in electrical, welding, and hydraulic systems. Knowledge of PLCs is a plus.

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required, along with a valid driver's license. The ability to lift 75 pounds without difficulty is also essential.
